How the free beta uses your information, keeps your results available, and gives you control over what you share.

What we collect and why
You provide an optional business name, a short description, and answers about customers, team size, workflows, priorities, information, AI use, oversight and budget. We store these answers, calculated results, prepared planning content and technical timestamps so you can return to your assessment.
Your business name is optional. The other assessment answers are needed to produce the result. You do not need an account or email address. Please leave out customer or patient records, staff details, financial statements, and other personal or confidential information in free text.
If email delivery is available and you choose to send yourself a results link, we store your email address and request timestamp and use Resend to deliver that message. This is a requested service email, not a marketing subscription. Payments are disabled in the free beta.
To limit abuse, the application derives a keyed, pseudonymous identifier from your network address and stores a request count and expiry time. The rate-limit table does not store the raw address. Hosting and network providers may separately process addresses and technical request information to deliver and protect their services.
Purposes and legal bases
Where data protection law applies, we use personal data needed for an assessment you request personally to perform that service. For requests on behalf of a business, we rely on the legitimate interest in responding to that business’s request. Security and request limits serve the legitimate interest in preventing abuse and keeping the service available.
We do not use assessment information for advertising or marketing. This beta has no analytics or advertising trackers.
How the result is produced
The assessment applies a rules-based framework to your answers. It does not send them to a generative AI model. Results are suggestions for your consideration; the service does not use them to decide your access to employment, finance or other services. Read our approach and its limits for the rules and assumptions behind the result.
Your private link
Your randomly generated results link is the access credential. Anyone with the complete link can view your assessment. The database stores a hash of its secret token rather than the token itself. Keep the link private, including when copying it or requesting it by email. It is not protected by a separate account password.
Service providers and locations
- Supabase: assessment records are stored in the selected London, United Kingdom database region. Application access is through the server; direct browser access is not enabled.
- Vercel: hosts the application, with server processing configured for London and a global content-delivery network.
- Cloudflare: provides DNS for the domain. It is not configured as the website’s traffic proxy.
- Resend, if email is enabled: receives the destination email address and the message containing your private results link. An email-sending region does not establish where every part of the provider’s processing takes place.
A selected hosting region does not mean that every provider log, backup or support operation stays in that region. These providers use international infrastructure. Contact us for information about the providers and data-transfer arrangements relevant to your request.
How long information is kept
Free, unpaid assessment records are scheduled for deletion once they are more than 90 days old. Cleanup runs daily, so deletion takes place in the next daily cycle rather than at the exact 90-day mark. This removes the application’s stored answers, results, prepared plan and any email address associated with the record. The private link then stops working.
Rate-limit records are removed in a daily cleanup after their request window has expired for more than one day. These application schedules do not promise immediate removal from provider-managed backups or logs.
Information in your browser
Unfinished answers are saved in session storage for the current tab so you can resume. They are removed when you successfully submit or choose to start again. Browsers control session restoration; you can also clear site data yourself. Your color theme is kept in local storage until you change it or clear that storage.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law and circumstances, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restricted processing or a portable copy, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Some rights have conditions or exceptions.
Send privacy requests to contact@futureofmybusiness.com. We may need proportionate information to locate a record and verify your request. You can also complain to a competent data protection authority; the European Data Protection Board lists EU/EEA authorities.
Changes to this notice
If how information is used changes, we will update this notice and provide any additional notice required by applicable law before the new use begins.
